Ligonier Valley Snaps the Wolves Win Streak

This week the West Shamokin Wolves (3-3) was unable to continue their three game winning when they took on Ligonier Valley, falling to the Rams 60-6.

The Wolves fell behind early, allowing Ligonier to score four times in the first half making the score 26-0.

In the second quarter it looked like the Wolves offense may have turned a corner when Devin Fairman completed a pass to Aaron Gray for a touchdown, but the Rams would march the ball down the field answering the Wolves score to make it 33-6.

By the end of the game the Wolves sent out the back-ups were checked into the game for the Wolves for some playing time.

After the game Wolves Head Coach Jon McCullough was able to speak a little bit about how his team can bounce back.

The Wolves will look to bounce back next week as they host the Saltsburg Trojans at Jack E. Boyer Field.
