Probation, Incarceration Ordered for North Buffalo Woman

A North Buffalo Township woman who tried to run from police in January was sentenced in the Court of Common Pleas last week.
Tamara Denton, 29, previously pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge of flight to avoid apprehension and was sentenced to a year of probation, a $200 fine and 30 hours of community service.
When Armstrong County Probation officers issued a bench warrant for Denton’s arrest earlier this year and North Buffalo Township Police and Armstrong County Sheriff’s Department officers went to a known address along Bunker Hill Road the afternoon of January 21, Denton tried to escape.
According to the court affidavit, police asked Denton’s father, Robert, if she was available, but he said she was not in the single-wide trailer.
Unbeknownst to Robert, deputies outside the front entrance heard someone running through the house and falling through the floor. It was then that they also noticed Tamara fall feet-first through the trailer.
Tamara was apprehended by deputies after she reported she was stuck between the floor and a cinderblock.
Robert, 63, was also charged due to the incident – with two misdemeanor counts of hindering apprehension
Before Senior Judge Joseph Nickleach, Robert was granted entry into the ARD program in April. He was also sentenced to pay $100 and contribute 15 hours of community service.
Last week, Tamara was also sentenced to serve up to six months in the Armstrong County Jail for being impaired while driving under the influence. Tamara was reportedly driving on a suspended license at the beginning of January.

Are you kidding me??? Sure, this is only her 12th arrest. She’s definitely an upstanding citizen of Armstrong County, let’s give her probation and community service. Let’s put her back out on the street to steal, deal, and endanger more lives. What do you have to do in this County to get the proper punishment for your crimes? I think its time I look into selling my home and move to a town where the Judges care about the tax paying communities that pay their salaries. FEDUP!
