Minor Crash in Cowanshannnock Township

While traveling was along SR 85 at the intersection of Miller Road, an unnamed driver operating a Honda Odyssey fell asleep at the wheel, causing his vehicle to swerve on the eastbound lane of traffic. Another driver operating a Chevrolet Silverado attempted to avoid the Odyssey but was subsequently side swiped by the car.

All drivers involved stated that they were wearing seatbelts. Moderate damage was inflicted upon both vehicles, but neither driver was injured.

Investigating Officer Joseph Snyder says that charges are being filed against the owner of the Odyssey for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
