Ford City Man Allegedly Assaulted, Robbed along Trail
Pennsylvania State Police troopers are asking for the public’s help to identify three men who allegedly assaulted and robbed a Ford City man Tuesday.
At about 11:35AM May 31, the male was walking along the Ford City walking trail near the 9th Avenue and 3rd Street public bathrooms. At that time, he told police he was approached by three hooded men who demanded his wallet.
But, after even giving the men his wallet, the victim was also assaulted and sustained minor injuries. The three suspects fled into Ford City Borough.
State Police troopers say all three men were between 20 and 30 years of age and were wearing black hooded sweatshirts or wind breakers.
One suspect was wearing black and red shoes, another black shoes along with a black NY baseball hat and with a diamond left earring while the third had on white shoes.
