A former-Templeton man may spend life in jail after being convicted of murder and escaping from the Armstrong County Jail July 30, 2015.

After three days of testimony during his trial, Robert Crissman, Jr. was found guilty by 12 jurors – six men and six women – of first- and second-degree murder and other felony charges, including escape, robbery and receiving stolen property.

During the day-long testimony, attorneys, jurors and family members heard from two Pennsylvania State Police troopers, a DNA expert and three of Crissman’s family members.

The conviction came less than six hours before Crissman’s 39th birthday.

Crissman’s public defender, Chuck Pascal, said he was disappointed with the jury’s verdict.

Pascal was disappointed with the verdict???? Give me a break. Pascal knows this man was guilty and should be executed for his crime. I wonder what in the world Pascal could be disappointed in.

wman, I will agree with you on this one. Pascal the Rascal is as crooked as they come. But I guess some PDB has to represent this murderer on our dollar.
I say zap him and save taxpayer money.

worthingtonman, what would you like Chuck Pascal to say? Something like, “Boy, I’m sure glad that I lost that one!”

I can see him being disappointed that he lost in general. Nobody likes to lose a case. Being disappointed in the verdict itself? Hopefully he’s talking about the first.
