Local TV/Radio Auction Offers Tuesday Entertainment

As Primary Election Day comes to a close tomorrow night, Family-Life TV will offer an alternative to the politics and re-runs.

Beginning at 7PM, the station will conduct its live TV/Radio Auction.

Viewers can watch from the comfort of their living room on Comcast cable channel 23 and make bids via their telephone. It will also be simulcast on WTYM AM 1380 radio.

In addition, you can view the program on the Internet at www.familylifetv.com if you do not have cable TV.

In addition to calling in your bid on your phone, the station will offer something never done before.

Viewers will be able to text their bid to the station instead of making the phone call.

“The text is nearly instantaneous,” said Family-Life President David Croyle. “It is faster than making the phone call.”

Texters will receive a message that their bid was received and another one if they were the high bidder and awarded the item.

Viewers have until Friday, April 29 to come to the office at 140 South Jefferson Street in downtown Kittanning to pick up their items.
