Ford City Police Chief: “ Very Busy” First Day on the Job
Ford City Borough Mayor Jeff Cogley explains his vision for the local police force with new Chief Roger Wright last night.

New Ford City Borough Police Chief Roger Wright had no time to celebrate his promotion yesterday.
Wright – a local police officer since August 2010 who became the Borough’s first full-time Police Chief in nearly 10 years – said his first local full time shift was “very busy.”
“We spent a lot of time going through old evidence and trying to get the department inside in the shape I want it to be in so that I can move forward organized the way I want it to be,” Chief Wright said. “(The way Sergeants Mark Brice and John Atherton ran it) was a very good system but, I’m used to doing it things the way I’m accustomed to doing it and that’s how I want to move forward.”
Originally of Rural Valley, Chief Wright said he learned a lot from Sergeants Brice, Atherton and Ron Klingensmith and Interim Police Chief Jonathan Freel, as well as New Bethlehem Police Chief Scott Ryan.
Chief Wright is still on the part-time New Bethlehem Police roster to work as-needed.
With the goal of full-time police coverage four days per week – including Friday, Saturday and Sunday -, Mayor Jeff Cogley is looking to hire three, maybe four part-time officers.
“We need it for public safety,” Mayor Cogley said.”The weather’s breaking – we have a lot of calls and we need that coverage.
“It helps out the State Police also – they don’t have to worry about coming and taking care of us when we’re not here. Plus, that’ll help other communities also if they need to be assisted.”
Applications for part-time officers will be accepted until 4PM Friday.
Chief Wright and Mayor Cogley reinforced that former-Interim Chief Jonathan Freel is still on the police roster.
“He was not fired, and there was no intent for him to be fired,” Mayor Cogley said. “He was put in as interim chief for a certain time period.
“In his time period as interim chief, I think (Freel) did a very fine job. He was also in the running for (police chief) and he’s still on our force, and I commend him that he stayed.”
Chief Wright said a representative will regularly attend Manor Township Crime Watch meetings after more officers are added to the roster.

Bush was the worst president we have ever had. He took us to two lying wars and that is why we have never recovered from that debt. Congress has obstructed anything the democrats tried to accomplish. McConnel Said his number one goal was to see that Obama didn’t get elected. The night Obama was sworn into office, the republicans went into a room and plotted how they were going to make Obama fail. I originally was clued into this almost unattainable prowess when she accused me of being racist for calling accountants bean counters. That was the moment I knew I was truly in the company of greatness, and her comments have been on my must-read list ever since.
Now this most recent comment about why people won’t vote for Obama or Hillary absolutely solidifies my suspicions. There is no way that anyone wouldn’t vote for Hillary because she is a poser, fake, crook, liberal, corporation-appeasing disgusting human being. Nope. It has to be because she is a woman. The fact that Hillary has the innate ability to cause reflex-vomiting in tens of thousands with merely the sound of her “stump” voice where the final syllable of every sentence comes with the 100% fake inflection of pitch, and is lengthened. It definitely can’t be because Hillary left our boys up on the wall over in Benghazi high and dry, or the fact our clandestine operators were completely exposed while she was using her blinged out IPhone being lazy and arrogant, with absolutely ZERO regard for them, or our National Security.

It couldn’t be the fact we are a coal mining community and Obama publicly claimed he would put them out of business. Or, the fact his prior experience was community organizer. Or the fact it is still somewhat foggy if he was even born in America. George Bush was the worst president ever. He put this country so far in debt with two unnecessary wars that we still haven’t recovered from. When Obama took office after Bush, this country was loosing 800,000 jobs a month and now those jobs have all been brought back under Obama. When Bush left office, the unemployment rate was 10 per cent and now it is 4 per cent. This is a known fact no matter how you try to say otherwise. When Regan was in there, he traded weapons for hostages and how many people were killed in embassy? I wish there was no republican and democrats and only a person running for office and vote for the person who would do best instead of going for a party.

Taking your estimate, the budget of the jail would be about $1.5 Million more than it is. Like I said on my post that either the $20 is the cost or the state is not reimbursing Armstrong the proper amount. The number was based on the state reimbursement and number of prisoners. ( of course you skipped that part).
Second, Hillary said she would “put a lot of coal miners out of work” at a Democratic Town Hall… but then again you would not know that because you would have to research a candidate.

One hate group was a band, and there are many rap, rock and top 40 bands which have racially tinged lyrics as well.
Apparently, the idea that someone does not agree with Obama based on principle, be it economics, foreign policy etc. is incomprehensible to you. What you are trying to infer is that hate groups won’t vote for and don’t agree with Obama, therefore anyone who does not vote for or agree with Obama falls into a hate group. You then, (because you don’t agree) start with “Right Wing Rhetoric” meme, so that you can make the inference to linking disagreement with Obama to “hate groups”.
It has been stated and or inferred on here many times when someone does not agree with Obama that it is because of his race. Some can’t admit that policy disagreements are the reason.
You have proven nothing, by definition a racist would not vote for Obama, however just because one did not vote for Obama does not make that person a racist. That was the point being made.

Conservatives make these arguments then, as a way to deflect attention from the larger societal injustice to which a black American (or Obama in this case) was being subjected. Some things apparently don’t change in the white community — namely, our deflection techniques, the fact that there are black hate groups in existence has nothing to do whatsoever with what you said in that post, just used to downplay you point.

Obama’s job numbers are padded by his horrific policies. Instead of people working one job, they now work three and senior citizens are delivering newspapers and pizza’s now to supplement their incomes. High School kids have real competition to get what used to be high-school-kids-only type jobs, now. Great job, Obama.
Obamacare was a real prize too. Millions of dollars, the website didn’t work when the hacks rolled it out and rates continue to skyrocket. His “affordable” coverage runs a previously uninsured family about a grand a month. I suppose “affordable” is in the eye’s of the beholder!
