Winter Weather Affects Armstrong County

With freezing rain yesterday follows by snow this afternoon and tonight, Armstrong County is experiencing its mid-February winter blast.

Meteorologist Lee Hendricks at the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh told host David Croyle on WTYM AM 1380 this morning that 2 inches of snow is expected during the late afternoon and evening hours today. Snow will continue tomorrow with another 2 inches.

This weekend, make sure you bundle up for your Valentine activities. Hendricks said temperatures will include wind chills of 15 to 20 degrees BELOW zero on Saturday and Sunday.
