OBIT: Susan E. Schall (Dayton, PA)

Susan E. (Collor) Schall, 67, of Dayton, died Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, at ACMH Hospital.

She was born Sept. 17, 1948, in Kittanning, a daughter of the late George and Jenny Collor. She was currently employed at Armstrong County Community Action and was a member of Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church, Templeton. She enjoyed horses, gardening and her dogs.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years: Galen “Butch” Schall, of Dayton; son: Daniel (Michelle) Schall, of Kittanning; daughters: Gailene Schall, of Dayton, and Yvonne Schall, of Dayton; grandson: Brandon Schall; two step-granddaughters: Halie Breznai and Amber (Kalen) Brendlinger; one great-grandson: Braedon Brendlinger; brother: David Collor, of Templeton; and sisters: Brenda Mateer, of Dayton, and Jean Shankle, of Franklin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, in the KENNEDY & BLODGETT FUNERAL HOME, Kittanning, with the Rev. John Snyder. Interment in Mateer Cemetery.
