OBIT: Pauline McPherson (Kittanning)
Pauline McPherson, 94, of Kittanning, died on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the Armstrong County Health Center.
She was born on May 17, 1921 in Kittanning, the daughter of Paul and Blanche (Barr) Shaffer.
Pauline was retired from Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.
This was her favorite time of the year. She loved to see the Fall foliage.
She is survived by her son: Ken McPherson of Kittanning; granddaughters: Theresa (Doug) Emminger of Michigan, Lanny (Kevin) Kronen of Rural Valley, and Tammy McPherson of West Kittanning; grandsons: Ken (Kelly) McPherson Jr. of Alabama, Shawn (Lisa) McPherson of Cranberry, PA, and Scott (Jennifer) McPherson of Virginia; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Margorie McPherson of Kittanning; brother: and Harold (Virginia) Shaffer of Sewickley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son: Harold McPherson; daughter-in-law: Linda McPherson; twin brother: Paul Shaffer; and sister: Madeline (Shaffer) Leinweber.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Sunday, October 18, 2015 and from 10AM until the time of a funeral service at 11AM on Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning. The Reverend Ken Thompson will officiate. Interment will be in the Pine Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
