Three Weeks Left in Photo Contest

A local State official is seeking Armstrong County’s most scenic views.

In a press release, Senator Don White said that the 41st Senatorial District is one of Pennsylvania’s most scenic and picturesque areas and wants to find the best photos that capture its spirit and beauty for display in the large display window of his Indiana District Office, at 618 Philadelphia Street.

Contestants may submit two photos per category: spring, summer, fall and winter.

The contest is open to children and adults, but photos must feature locales in the 41st District. The district spans the counties of Armstrong, Indiana, and parts of Butler & Westmoreland.

Entries will be accepted until October 31.

Voting will take place in November with the winners to be announced in December.

“From rolling farms to bustling main streets, the picturesque vistas throughout the many boroughs and townships that make up my senate district are a photographer’s dream,” Senator White said. “I want people to share their best photographs of local sights and scenes with their neighbors.”
