R. Harold Heilman, 90, Kittanning, died Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
He was born July 31, 1925, in Bethel Township, to Lee and Ruth (Crownover) Heilman.
He was retired from C.H. Snyder Coal Co., was a member of West Glade Run Presbyterian Church and liked woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Thelma Hielman; brother, Bob Heilman (wife Audrey), of Kittanning Township; nephew, Daniel Heilman (wife Pat), of Kittanning Township; and two nieces: Donna Steffey (husband Ed), of Ohio, and Elaine Sloan (husband Sam), of Rural Valley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Janet Schaeffer.
A private funeral service was held at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning, with the Reverend Colleen McFarland officiating.
Interment is in West Glade Run Cemetery.
