James D. Frampton, 87, of Carlisle, Pa. - formerly of Penn Run - passed away on Sunday July 19, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on November 16, 1927 to Emory and Pearl Frampton in NuMine.
James worked in auto assembly for General Motors in Buffalo, New York.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Korean War.
James is survived by his daughter, Diane (Paul) McClead of Carlisle; sister, Verna White of Blacklick; grandson, Paul McClead, Jr.; granddaughter, Ashley McClead; and great-granddaughter, Hailey Yost.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen (Umbaugh) Frampton, who died June 30, 2006; two brothers; and two sisters.
Friends will be accepted from 6-9PM today – Tuesday, July 21, 2015 – at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home in Rural Valley.
Additional visitation will be held from 9:30-11AM tomorrow - Wednesday, July 22, 2015 – at the funeral home immediately before funeral services.
Burial will take place in the Rural Valley Cemetery.
