OBIT: Ronald D. Troutman (Shelocta)
Ronald D. Troutman, 61, of Shelocta, (Plumcreek Township) passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh surrounded by his family.
He was born on June 28, 1953 to J. Junior and Dorothy Ellen (Cochran) Troutman in Kittanning.
Ronald worked as a substitute teacher for Armstrong and Indiana School Districts and Lenape Technical School in Manor Township.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Luann (Wilhelm) Troutman, whom he married June 30, 1979; two sons: Gregory Lee Troutman of Ford City and Ryan Matthew Troutman of Vandergrift; brother, Randall Troutman of Dayton; niece, Megan (Christopher) Rock of Butler; and great nephew, Boone Rigley Rock.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received from 7-9PM tomorrow - Saturday, December 27, 2014 – at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home in Rural Valley. Additional visitation will be available from 2- 4 and 7 – 9PM Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Monday, December 29, 2014 at the funeral home, with Pastor T.J. McLaughlin officiating. Burial will take place in the Harkleroad Cemetery.
