OBIT: Margaret E. Klingensmith (Kittanning)

Margaret E. Klingensmith, 88, of Kittanning, died on Christmas Day, December 25, 2014, at the Kittanning Care Center.

She was born in Rimersburg on May 29, 1926, a daughter of Clinton and Clara (Weston) Swartz.

She is survived by three sons: James Lightner of Mayport, Elmer (Nancy) Lightner of New Bethlehem, and Richard (Dorothy) Lightner of Dayton, PA; two daughters: Joy Mitchell of Kittanning and Vicki DeLuca of Monroeville; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Charles Swartz of Hermitage and John Swartz of Widnoon.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband: Richard Klingensmith; grandchildren: Terri, Tracy, and Kenny; and a great-grandson: Austin.

Friends will be received from 5-8 PM on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning, where visitation will continue on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 12 Noon, followed by a funeral service at 1PM with the Reverend Scott Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Ford City Cemetery.
