OBIT: Michelle A. Smith (Worthington)
Michelle A. (Miller) Smith, 43, of Worthington, died at her home on Thursday, May 10, 2012.
She was born on December 7, 1968 to Clifford A. Slate and Sharon A. (Valois) Beniot.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, Boy Scouts, and fundraisers for basketball and the scouting program. She was a mother to all the kids that came to her house.
She is survived by her husband: Robert Smith; daughter Brittany Ann Smith of Worthington; son Robert Frederick Smith of Worthington; her mother Sharon Beniot and stepfather Robert Beniot; brother Todd Miller of South Dakota; three sisters: Rebecca Ulrick of South Dakota, Tina Miller of Worthington, and Jamie Thompson of Worthington; her grandmother Geraldine Hines of Massachusetts; father Clifford A. Slate of Massachusetts; stepdaughter Ashton Smith and stepson Robert Don Smith – both of Worthington.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Clifford G. Slate and Licienne R. Slate; and her maternal grandfather Fredrick Hines.
Friends will be received from 7-9 PM on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington, with additional visitation on Monday from 9AM until the time of the funeral service at 11AM. The Reverend Rodney Murray will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to offset funeral expenses to the Moonlight Credit Union, Post Office Box 427, Worthington, PA 16262.
