Ford City is playing for conference respect tonight among other things. We all know the conference minus Ford City was 0 for 4 last year. Outside of the Sabers I think Freeport has the next best chance for a win against Jeannette, but even that seems like a long shot.
Deer Lakes host Beaver but not many people are expecting the Lancers to emerge with their first ever playoff win. The Sabers have a smart group of seniors who are capable of making a long playoff run. Not many people outside the 16226 zip are giving the Sabers a shot at reaching the semis. If Ford City can reach the finals it would make a lot of people realize there is life north of Allegheny County.
