Tonight Ford City and Freeport will learn who they play in the opening round of the WPIAL Football Playoffs. I’m thinking Ford City will get the #5 seed. Aliquippa will be first, followed by Greensburg and South Fayette. I think Seton LaSalle will get the fourth seed. However I wouldn’t be surprised if they get the 4th seed, but knowing the WPIAL, I wouldn’t be surprised if Beaver Falls pushes them to 6th. Either way I think there are most likely to play Keystone Oaks, Ellwood City, or Mt Pleasant. Of those three I think Ellwood City is the clear best. It’s also likely Ford City will have to go through Seton LaSalle and Aliquippa to get to the Final. Freeport will probably get the 14th or 15th, but we’ll find out tonight.
