John Cummings, 28, of New Bethlehem reported to Pennsylvania State Police that his 49-inch LG television set was damaged during a domestic dispute. Total value of damaged property is $500. The incident happened at 4337 Climax Road in Mahoning Township on November 4.
Pennsylvania State Police responded to a two motorcycle crash on November 10 in West Franklin Township. Investigating Officer David Endlich said the crash occurred just before 6:30 PM. The operator of one motorcycle was injured during the crash with multiple injuries, but is expected to recover. Endlich said that the operator was impaired at the time of the crash and a blood draw was obtained. Davidson’s Towing removed the vehicle from the scene and the operator was flown to UPMC Presbyterian from ACMH Hospital.
Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched on November 10 shortly before 3PM to investigate a threat toward the Freeport High School. The preliminary investigation unveiled a lack of credibility to the claim, and the school was notified and contact has been made with the Safe2Say reporting agency. The investigation shall continue in order to learn the source of the claim, as it is believed that the report may be fraudulent. The Freeport High School staff is fully aware of the situation and has made all notifications and taken all necessary precautions.
Two employees of ACMH Hospital were victims of a theft. On November 8, 2019, between 8AM and 1PM, a wallet and approximately $120 was taken from the lockers of the employees at the hospital. The wallet is brown in color and contains multiple cards inside. It held $100 in cash. The other had a $20 bill in it. The investigating officer Dylan Jones said the investigation is continuing.
A 44-year-old unidentified man from Vandergrift is being charged after he was exiting the Rite Aid in Apollo Borough and hit the door causing the glass to break. The door is valued at $967.20. The incident happened on October 20, but information was just released by Investigating Officer Mitchell Fetterman.
