An early morning structure fire forced a Ford City family from their home on Veterans Day.
The fire broke out around 1AM at 1301 6th Avenue.
Firefighters from Kittanning Hose Company #1, #6, Ford City, Manor Township, Brackenridge, and Worthington/West Franklin were called to the scene. Ford City Ambulance was also there.
According to reports, the fire started in the attic. The family in the home, including children, escaped the flames.
