The winners are: Wood carving (grade 9) Nick Nolte, first; Tom Grey, second; Kevin Hetrick, third; Kory King, fourth; and Ed Morris, honorable mention. Wood carving (grade 8) Mark Hilliard, first; Greg Wyant, second; and Rick Ashbaugh, fourth. Steve Bono, eighth grade, won a first place in the open division.
05/21/1964 – The Soroptimists Club of Armstrong County today announced plans to begin tomorrow the sale of 50-star American flags here as a fundraising undertaking that will benefit eventually the Armstrong County Center of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
