No injuries were reported in an accident in Bethel Township Saturday night shortly before 11PM. A State Police report indicated Thomas Taylor, 46, of Ford City was traveling northbound on Route 66 near Grantz Hollow Road in Bethel Township. The vehicle traveled off the roadway and into the eastern berm, over the guide rail, and into a telephone pole. The vehicle came to rest in a stream over the embankment. Taylor allegedly fled the scene in a Jeep Liberty prior to the arrival of Troopers Kalee Wietrzykowski and Mitchell Fetterman. The State Police were assisted by Bethel Township and Gilpin Township fire departments and Ford City EMS.
