Carnival rides are located at the high school athletic field on Hobson Drive. Refreshment stands and booths are situated in the lot adjacent to the borough building. The firemen’s auxiliary will serve dinners in the fire hall.

7/26/1938 - A large marijuana raid staged in Ambridge was believed today to have at least partially cut off supply of the weed to several Armstrong County points. The raid was hailed by law enforcement leaders as a step in a campaign to cut off sources of the dread drug.
7/26/1938 - Armstrong County’s 33 yr old “murder trial” Bible appeared in new beauty today. Little used, the volume had become shoddy in appearance. The cover was torn, and pages were working their way out. But today, the bookbinders returned it. A soft leather, in a bluish shade, covered its 5×3 in surface. Pages were neatly in order throughout the book.
