A Parks Township man has been arrested on charges of simple assault and making terroristic threats following an incident at 4:37 yesterday morning.
State Police responded to a domestic incident at 1118 Mary Street. Clinton Stear, 52, is accused of hitting, grabbing, and dragging a 49-year-old unidentified female from the garage into the residence. The victim was able to get away and locked herself inside. Stear used a shovel and broke the front window. He then entered the residence and related that he was going to kill the victim. Troopers apprehended Stear inside the house and placed him under arrest. Charges also included criminal mischief and harassment.
State Police also discovered that Stear had a warrant for his arrest from Westmoreland County.
