SOUTH BUFFALO - Two drivers were injured during an accident on December 11. Marie Wolfe, 75, of Lower Burrell was driving her 2011 Chevrolet Malibu on Route 28 south in South Buffalo Township, 2 miles south of Exit 18. A 2016 Jeep Wrangler driven by 51-year-old Timothy Minnich of Kittanning struck Wolfe’s car. Minnich’s Jeep rolled one time before coming to rest facing northbound in the middle of both southbound lanes. Wolfe’s car went into the median near the northbound lane. Minnich was taken to Presbyterian Hospital. Wolfe also had minor injury. Ambulances from Kittanning and Freeport assisted in transporting the drivers.
