EAST FRANKLIN - Donna Marie Elkin, 35, of Kittanning was observed bypassing items on the barcode scanner in the self-checkout aisle at Walmart in the Hilltop Plaza. The merchandise was recovered by loss prevention officers.

Oh yeah! They publish this woman`s name that MIGHT have intentionally stolen but not the prisoner who DID chew on the guards hand! And we can thank lawyers for this.
Every time I use the self checkout I double check that my items scanned because I realize it could be very easy to be construed as shoplifting. Although it appears as though this young lady may have been trying to give herself a steep discount. Be careful using these lanes.
