EAST FRANKLIN - On Friday, October 20, the ACMH Richard G. Laube Cancer Center was presented with a donation of $14,000 from Riding for the Cure, a small group of motorcycle enthusiasts and activists doing their part in the fight against breast cancer.
The funds were raised during various events throughout the year, including the group’s annual Breast Cancer Awareness Ride - always held on the last Saturday in July.
All proceeds from the ride are donated to local facilities to benefit cancer patients. To date, the group has raised over $173,000 since its inception 6 years ago. For more information, please visit the Riding for the Cure Facebook page.
