Crews paint “zebra stripes” on the cross walks at the Kittanning Citizen’s Bridge / Market Street intersection yesterday. Council members were concerned that motorists were not paying attention to pedestrians attempting to walk to and from Kittanning Riverfront Park. To emphasize safety, a sign has been installed at the side of the bridge with a flashing light as well as bolder stripes on the crosswalk.
