Rural Valley Pair Not Injured in Crash

PLUMCREEK - A deer caused an accident at the end of August. 22-year-old Jessica Walker of Rural Valley was driving her 2013 Hyundai Tuscon on Sunkin Valley Road when the deer jumped out in front of her vehicle. Walker swerved and lost control of her car. As a result, she struck a utility pole, and then continued into a ditch. The vehicle rolled over onto its roof. Walker nor a passenger in her car, Colton McCullough, 27, of Rural Valley were injured. The car was towed away by Terry’s Towing. West Penn Power was notified to replace the downed utility pole.
