An accident occurred on August 10 on Route 28/66 at the intersection of Pine Furnace Road in Valley Township.
A 2012 Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by Raymond Dosch, 22, of Templeton, was traveling south, when a deer jumped out in front of him. Dosch hit the deer, causing his vehicle to enter into the northbound lane. At that point, a 2017 Chevrolet Cruize driven by Adam Webb, 27, of Dayton, was traveling north and hit the deer as it came into his lane after being hit by Dosch’s vehicle.
Neither driver was injured. While Dosch’s vehicle had minor damage to the front, Webb’s vehicle had disabling damage to the front area.
