Montebell Field in Kittanning will be set for a big week of baseball with the 9/10 year old District 26 Little League Championship game which will begin at 7:30 PM.
The two teams competing on Wednesday will be the KESS All-Stars and winner of Tuesday nights game between Freeport and Leechburg after their game was rained out on Monday night.
Later in the week, Montebell will be hosting the Little League Sectional Tournament which will take the winners of the 11/12 year old teams from District 2, 4, 9, and 26. All of those teams will be competing to win the section for a chance to win the Little League regional tournament.
Opening ceremonies will begin on July 15 at 5:45 PM followed by the District 2 and 4 teams facing off at 6:00 PM and then District 9 and District 26 (home) at 8:00 PM.
The tournament will be double elimination with games happening daily from July 15 to July 19 and games will be played at 6 PM and 8 PM.
