PENN-DOT - Armstrong and Indiana counties were hard hit during last night’s first summer storm. Due to heavy rains and flooding conditions, the following roads are closed in Indiana County:
• Route 422 East and West is closed between Route 56 and Route 4001, Five Points Road, due to a bridge issue. The detour uses Route 119 to Route 85 to Route 210.
• Route 3039, Anthony Run Road, is closed between Route 422 and Curry Run Road in Armstrong Township.
• Route 3010, Rearick Road, is closed between Wertz Road and Gazda Road in Young Township.
• Route 3056, Old Route 56, in Center Township, that was closed earlier between Route 286 and Warren Road, has now been re-opened.
Storms are expected on and off throughout today.

West Penn Power was also busy removing trees that came down on their power lines throughout the area.
