Grant Rupp of New Bethlehem has been charged with having sex with a 12-year-old girl.
MADISON - A Madison Township resident was arrested last Thursday and charged on sexual assault with a 12-year-old female.
19-year-old Grant Nicholas Rupp had encounters with the girl between March 24 and May 19, 2017, according to the State Police report. A warrant was issued and Rupp was arrested last Thursday. He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge James Andring and placed in the Armstrong County Jail in lieu of a $50,000 cash or property bond.
Rupp was charged with two counts of Rape, two counts of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, four counts of Statutory Sexual Assault, 12 counts of Aggravated Indecent Assault, four counts of Sexual Assault, four counts of Corruption of Minors, four counts of Simple Assault, four counts of Indecent Assault, eight counts of Indecent Assault, and four counts of Harassment. The charges represent a total of 11 felonies.
