KITTANNING - The Armstrong County Tourist Bureau will hold its big annual celebration today, May 12, in honor of National Travel and Tourism Week.

Each year, the Tourist Bureau erects a tent in the parking lot in front of their office on Market Street.

Today, from 11AM-3PM, there will be free popcorn, classic cars, and over 20 vendors participating in the event.

Several members of the Tourist Bureau will be participating with giveaways, an abundance of information from organizations around the county, and much more.

The celebration isn’t limited to the Tourist Bureau parking lot! Several downtown merchants have been invited to participate, and those who have chosen to do so will be indicated with a balloon along the street. They will offer special deals and incentives, so be sure to check out what they have to offer as well.
