North Buffalo Man Found Saturday

Booth was found approximately 100 yards behind his residence on Linford Lane. The subject was last heard or seen from at approximately 7PM December 7, 2016. A missing person was issued by PSP Kittanning. The subject was found deceased at approximately 12:15 PM when the family and friends did a search of the woods around the residence.

Corey Thomas Booth, 26, of Kittanning, North Buffalo Township, was found in the woods approximately 100 yards behind his residence Saturday afternoon.

Booth was pronounced dead at the scene by Armstrong County Coroner Brian K. Myers. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death. At this time, there is no suspicion of foul play.

Booth was suffering from depression and drug addiction.

The Coroner’s office was assisted at the scene by PSP Kittanning and Armstrong Co. DA’s Office. The Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home – Kittanning will be handling the funeral arrangements.
