Publisher Discusses Importance of Media at Ford City Playground

Children attending the day program at the 7th Street Playground in Ford City enjoyed a visit from Kittanning Paper Publisher David Croyle last week. (submitted)

Children attending the day program at the 7th Street Playground in Ford City had a lot of questions for Kittanning Paper Publisher David Croyle last week.

“They asked everything from how I started the paper to how it gets printed,” Croyle said.

He accepted the invitation to speak to the children given by Playground Supervisor Abigail Remis and Parent Volunteer Alisha Kendall. Brittany Roshto also served as a parent volunteer to coordinate the event.

Croyle spoke shortly after lunch was provided through the Community Action program. Nevertheless he was prepared and handed out juice boxes and chips provided by the Kittanning Paper.

Croyle said one young man in particular was already writing short stories. Perhaps our readers will get a chance to read some of his writings in the future.
