Historical Markers Repaired in Elderton

Historical markers in Elderton Borough were repaired and repainted during the past couple months.

As Elderton Borough Secretary/Treasurer Jennifer Redick explained, a representative from the Keystone Marker Trust, Mike Wintermantel, completed the work - first picking up the historical markers last winter.

Signs were completed April 30, with Elderton Borough only paying for was the welding and painting.

The oldest living president in Elderton, Victor Shall, was financially crucial in Elderton Borough obtaining the funds to repair the history marker signs.
