Wanted Slippery Rock Woman Found in Butler
A Slippery Rock woman who had active bench warrants for her arrest was found by Pennsylvania State Police troopers yesterday across county lines.
During a traffic stop for an expired registration, a State Police trooper from the Butler barracks found out Joyce Mary Anderson, 43, had active bench warrants from Armstrong County and was taken into custody.
Upon search by a female corrections officer at the Armstrong County Jail in Rayburn Township, officers found two stamp bags - one full and one empty - marked “Chevrolet” in Anderson’s coat pocket.
Further charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of parahernalia are to be filed before a local magisterial judge.
