OBIT: William H. Fennell (Ford City)

William Homer Fennell, 78, of Ford City, died on November 14, 2015 at ACMH Hospital.

He was born on March 19, 1937 in Loyalhanna, PA - a son of William Sword and Rosella (Caldwell) Fennell.

He was retired after working for the 7-UP/Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company.

He was a member of Appleby Manor Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed woodworking, managed the Little League Yankees for many years, sang in church choir, and served as an Elder at Appleby Manor.

He is survived by four sons: William C. Fennell of Natrona Heights, PA, Jack P. (Amila) Fennell of Jeannette, PA, Dirk A. (Vi)Fennell of Kittanning, and Drew R. (Krista) Fennell of Natrona Heights; one daughter: Wendy (Scott) Methven of Douglasville, GA; and 14 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Carol Patton Fennell; sisters: Jean Robertson, Martha Butler, and Ailene Bish.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 beginning at 6PM until the time of a memorial service at 7PM In the Appleby Manor Presbyterian Church, Route 66 South of Ford City. The Reverend Laurie Milligan will officiate.
