Hogue Resigns His County Jail Warden Position
Armstrong County Jail Warden David Hogue has resigned in the wake of the July 30 inmate breaking out of the Rayburn Township facility.

The Armstrong County Prison Board announced the resignation this morning, which becomes effective November 12.
Hogue had been suspended without pay following the jail break on July 30 of 38-year-old Robert Crissman.
Crissman was appointed as a trustee in the jail system after being incarcerated less than one week. His jail break resulted in him being charged in the death of Tammy Long, which occurred just several hours after him leaving the jail while he was on the run.
Hogue was a 31 year veteran of the prison system.
