RIZZO: FC vs. Elderton Tonight

There is an interesting game tonight as Elderton hosts Ford City. A lot of guys from Elderton suited up for the Sabers last season. This is a non section game, but I think both teams could use a win tonight. Ford City lost their section opener to Shady Side on Friday, and Elderton is trying to get in sync. It’s a big week for Ford City too as they host Springdale tomorrow and Kittanning on Thursday. The Wildcats defeated Knoch on Friday for their first section win in two years and head into tomorrow’s Burrell game undefeated.

Also this weekend two Western PA football teams won PIAA Titles. North Allegheny and Clairton added another trophy to their collections.
