Council President Fenyes Loses Control of Public Meeting

One of the biggest obstacles facing Ford City Borough may be the ability to govern their own council members.
Near the end of the public meeting, Councilman Ray Klukan, agitated by comments from the audience, exploded into uncontrollable swearing and cussing as fellow members attempted to calm him down.
Even his relative, Vice-President Tyson Klukan, could not stop the emotional tyrade, forcing Council President Carol Fenyes to call for an early adjournment prior to all citizens being heard during the comment period.
This is not the first time Ray Klukan has had emotional episodes. During his prior term on council several years ago, Klukan could not constrain himself from becoming distraught with challenges made my members of the community during the meeting.

No personal shots here.
That was a disgraceful and ugly display at the end of the council meeting.
Even if the two ex-council were antagonizing the council, it was a total unacceptable response.
The Council President failed to manage the meeting as she should have removed the disturbing and out of control council member and proceeded on with the meeting.
It was disrespectful to the sitting council members and the citizens.

What a shame. These are supposed to be adults. It made Pittsburgh tv news channel. Good luck Eden. You should be happy to get out of that hick town down there. I am sure with your education, you can get a good job in a better area with more intelligent people.

It made the news because someone wanted it to. Seems funny that Jerry was on the tv. Was he the only one CH. 11 could find to talk to other than Marc Mantini? I think not! Wasn’t Jerry banned from meetings before? No talk of that huh?
