Police Look for Clues in Plumcreek Incident
Pennsylvania State Police are attempting to find out how a Salem, Ohio man ended up lying in the middle of the northbound lane of Route 210.
The incident occurred about one mile north of Route 422 in Plumcreek Township.
A motorist reported the incident shortly after 3AM on Labor Day.
The man was identified as 41-year-old Scott C. Baird on Salem, Ohio.
According to police, Baird had severe injuries and was flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment.
The circumstance surrounding exactly how Baird came to be injured and laying on the roadway is still a mystery to police and is currently under investigation.

Police were assisted at the scene by Citizens EMS and the Elderton Volunteer Fire Department.
