“Bill” Patton

William J. “Bill” Patton, 54, of Kittanning, PA, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016, at ACMH Hospital.

He was born in Kittanning on December 14, 1961, the son of Lawrence H. Patton, Sr. and Annabelle (Detrie) Patton.

Bill graduated from Kittanning High School in 1979 and was of the Protestant faith. Throughout his life he worked for Bauer Block, Glacial Sand and Gravel, and, most recently, Eljer. Bill also was the caregiver for his mother for several years. In his free time, he enjoyed landscaping and woodworking. He also loved listening to music and riding his bicycle. Bill will be best remembered for his love and dedication to his friends, and will be greatly missed.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his brother, Lawrence H. “Junior” Patton, Jr. and wife, Barb, of Kittanning; sister, Shirley A. Barnhart and husband, Keith, of Chicora; nieces and nephews, Tricia M. Clark and husband, Leland, Bradley Patton and wife, Sarah, Jeffrey Patton, and Juliann Patton and fiancé, Brett Yockey; great-nieces and great-nephews, Gracie Patton, Tristan Clark and Dulcinea Clark; several cousins; and close friends, Kelly Rettig, Phil Moore and Mike Lasher.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Relatives and friends may visit from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N McKean St., Kittanning, PA.

Additional visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until the time of funeral services at 1:30 PM on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mary Marks-King officiating.

Burial will be in Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, PA.
