OBIT: Erma J. McCulloch (Sarver)

Erma J. McCulloch, 90, of Sarver, PA, died on June 4th, 2016 at home.

She was born in Wishaw, PA on February 12, 1926 to August and Anita (Peroni) Mantini. She was a lifelong resident of the community.

Erma formerly worked at Schenley Distillery. During WWII, she worked in Detroit.

She was a member of St. Marys Roman Catholic Church in Freeport. She enjoyed her family and her pets Max and Penny.

She is survived by her sons: Michael A. McCulloch and Thomas McCulloch of Sarver; daughters: Anita & Les Hahn of Sarver, Erma McCulloch of Sarver, and Bridget & Daniel Muzzio of Somerville, ND; brothers: Angelo Mantini, Nello Mantini, and Tony Mantini; sisters: Antina Picardi, and Lyda Roncher; grandchildren: Steven, Laura, Brian, Kathryn, and Matthew; and great-grandchildren: Austin, Justin, and Paul.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Michael McCulloch who died on May 10, 1991; and two sons: Matthew and Justin McCulloch.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Monday, June 6, 2016 at the Mantini Funeral Home, 701 Sixth Avenue in Ford City. A Prayer Service will be held at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at Christ Prince of Peace Parish in Ford City with Father Alan Grote, celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Marys Cemetery in Freeport.
