County Veterans Leaders Express Thanks
Armstrong County Veterans Affairs Director Chuck Righi and VSO Kathy Rashlich are thanking local volunteers and organizations that participated in the flag distribution of veterans’ graves and the county’s preparation for Memorial Day.
“We would like to thank Roy Carney and his team from the Armstrong County Public Works for cleaning the war memorial wall, as well as Jim Mechling and his crew from Kittanning Borough for the lawn work on the war memorial in the Kittanning Riverfront Park, and all of the parade committee and members,” the two noted in a press release.
