Fire, Police Combine for Search Detail

East Franklin Township and Applewold Borough firefighters were requested shortly after 2:20AM to help Pennsylvania State Police troopers from Kittanning with a search detail in a housing plan near West Glade Presbyterian Run Church, along Glade Run Road in Kittanning early this morning.

About a half hour later, officials also requested assistance from Kittanning Hose Company #1 and Worthington Borough firefighters.

No word on the details or results of the search, but several volunteers from all departments responded that they were able to help.
