Alarm Sounds at Local Hospital

Early this morning, three fire companies were dispatched to respond to a possible fire at a local hospital.

East Franklin Township, Applewold Borough and Kittanning Hose Company #1 firefighters were dispatched by Armstrong 9-1-1 to ACMH Hospital in the West Hills are of East Franklin Township for a fire alarm activation in one of the main lobbies.

According to one of the responding fire chiefs, hospital officials determined it was a smoke alarm in the basement but could not find any danger.
