OBIT: Lenna Lavina (Steele) Unger (Kittanning Township)
Lenna Lavina (Steele) Unger, 88 of Kittanning Township, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at home.
She was born October 7, 1927 in Pampa, Texas to Dixon Bartley and Martha (McKinley) Steele.
Lenna was a housewife, a member of Tidal Presbyterian Church and attendee of Church of Christ in Kittanning.
She enjoyed puzzles, reading, sewing and helping others.
Lenna is survived by her daughter, Linda S. Dunmire of Kittanning; son, Carl E. Unger (and wife Robin) of Leechburg, three grandchildren: Lenna Dunmire, Chad Unger and Lee Unger; great-grandchild Christian Unger; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald B. Unger; and sister, Dixie Schuster of Spring Valley, Calif.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9PM tomorrow - Thursday, October 29, 2015 - at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
Additional visitation will be offered from 10AM until the time of the funeral service at 11AM Friday, October 30, 2015 at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
