OBIT: Isabelle M. Frick (West Kittanning)

Isabelle M. Frick, 98, of West Kittanning, died Friday, October 2, 2015, in the Armstrong County Health Center.

Born June 4, 1917, in Adrian, she was a daughter of the late Frank L. and Minnie A. (Hooks) Bowser.

Mrs. Frick was a member of Montgomeryville Baptist Church in Adrian, and the Missionary Society in Brush Valley.

She worked as a dispatcher for Conrail (formerly Pennsylvania Railroad) in Pittsburgh for 45 years. Isabelle enjoyed music, sewing, traveling, and crocheting..

She is survived by two sisters, Berdella McKinley of West Kittanning, and Frances Schmidt of Oregon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Frick; brothers, Burton B., Arnold Ray, and Norman Lee Bowser; and sisters, Blanche L. Rupert and Mildred R. Hart England.

Friends will be welcomed from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, in the Welch Funeral Home in Ford City. A funeral services will be held at 11AM, Wednesday, at Brush Valley Brethren Church, Adrian, with additional visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Brush Valley Brethren Cemetery.
